Campaign Update

Albany State Capitol

May 27, 2010: Failure of State leadership is making 2010 the lost construction season with nearly $1 billion of stalled projects and growing every week. That is causing a loss of an estimated 37,000 jobs! Every day State leaders fail to allow approved projects to be awarded is another day public safety is at risk using deficient infrastructure, and construction workers are losing out on work to be done during the brief construction season. At a time when New Yorkers need good paying jobs, the failure of State leaders to do theirs is costing families, businesses, local communities and New York lost revenue due to this stalled commerce.
